Welcome to my instructional design portfolio! I’m Jaid, an instructional designer with a strong foundation in learning design, interactive media, and user-centered experiences. I am passionate about creating engaging, accessible, effective, and design-centric learning solutions that support both learner success and organizational goals.
My interest in instructional design stems from the intersection of education, technology, and visual design. As a Learning, Design, and Technology student at Kennesaw State University, I have had the opportunity to design learning experiences across corporate training, higher education, and community-focused initiatives. Through roles such as an Instructional Designer at Mohawk Industries, and a First-Year Peer Mentor and Student Success leader at Kennesaw State University, I have collaborated with diverse stakeholders to transform complex information into clear, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.
In this portfolio, you will find a curated collection of projects that demonstrate my skills in instructional design, visual communication, and project development. Each piece reflects a learner-centered approach and was created using industry-standard tools, including Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Canva, and Microsoft Office.
When I’m not designing learning experiences, I enjoy working on creative projects, engaging in community-focused initiatives, and finding balance through music and personal time, which helps inform my empathetic and human-centered design approach.
